Need

However, its infrastructure was not prepared to interact with this type of networks, which created a barrier to efficient integration with these banks.

Solution

The project began with a consulting phase to analyze the viability of the solution.
The central question: Can a network emulator be created to integrate operations with the Interbanking network through SNA?

Although we knew the answer beforehand, the evaluation to find out how we would do it was intense. It was decided to create a network emulator using Biztalk Server as the main tool to handle the necessary communications and adaptations between JP Morgan and the banks connected through the Interbanking network. More specifically, BizTalk Server was used to connect its modern TCP/IP infrastructure with banks using SNA networks, transforming and managing the communication between both technologies.
